Eli is a young man in his mid 20's - He has been working in the world of Shamanism for the past 8 years. Eli has always had a focus on the conservation of the natural world. He studied Natural Resources Conservation in Canada but once finishing his life took and unexpected turn and he found himself in the jungles of Colombia.
In the past 4 years Eli has been studying intensively the ways of Shamanism with two tribes from Putumayo, Colombia. The way of the Shaman is that of becoming one with nature, of remembering the ways of our ancestors and of living a life worth living.
The idea of this kids camp came from Eli's connection with Sylvia Benito and her two young boys Luca and Julen. Eli started teaching and sharing with them new ways of looking and understanding the natural world. He was amazed by how quickly they were able to pick up the teachings and how they were excited to incorporate them into their lives.
He saw that at a young age kids are still so open to the universal mysteries and are not carrying the same heavy baggage that most adults carry. There is a saying that you can't spend your whole life weeding you also have to plant seeds of life.
With kids he saw that there was very little to weed and he could just be there to support them to plant the best seeds. In India they have a tale that speaks of a man that plants a neem tree - Neem is a very bitter plant. Everyday he goes around the tree and says oh neem tree oh neem tree please produce sweet fruit - The teaching says that you can't plant something bitter and expect sweetness from it
In this kids camp we teach your kids how to plant seeds of trust, confidence, self-worth, wisdom and love
We hope your kids can join us for this transformative camp!
