6 lessons I learned from Ambiwaska

  1. We are never alone. At all times we are surrounded by support but we forget to ask for help. If this is not showing up in the physical world then we can go into our prayer and meditation to call beings of support to sit with us.

  2. The work really works. If we put our time into healing and uncovering the truth of who we are we will succeed. Behind the dam of confusion lies a river of unconditional love.

  3. Simple steps. It is often the simplest readjustments of our being that bring the sweetest fruits. It is not some monumental change that we need to make but just a settling. A pause and a relaxation to see that it is all already here.

  4. Seasons changing. In life, there are natural times of contraction and expansion. Times of sadness and happiness. The more we embrace these changing seasons the more we can find sweetness in all of life’s colors.

  5. Grief’s pace. Life will inevitably have times of pain but suffering is a choice. In times of pain, there is a natural period of grief that is an expression of beauty in the eyes of Mother Nature. However, all periods have their transition as we reopen our hearts.

  6. The natural way. How can we walk daily in a way in tune with the rhythms of nature? As the birds wake up every morning and sing, we too have an inner calling that we open our senses too.
